Are Emotes Available in Subnautica 2?
Subnautica 2 added a small set of multiplayer emotes in the Buddy System update, with a radial menu that works on land and in water.

Yes. Early Access 1.2 adds Wave, Clap, Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, and Frustrated emotes. They are selected from a radial menu and can be triggered on land or in water.
