Can't Find Creepvine Seed Clusters in Subnautica

Creepvine Seed Clusters are an early Kelp Forest resource used for Silicone Rubber and Lubricant. They are picked from the plant, while a Survival Knife produces the different Creepvine Sample item.

LAST CHECK

ANSWER LOCK // QUICK RESPONSE

Search the Kelp Forest for tall Creepvines with glowing yellow seed clusters and pick the clusters by hand. Do not cut the stalk if you need seeds; cutting it gives Creepvine Samples instead.

Look for the bright yellow, translucent clusters attached to tall Creepvine. The target is above the plant's stalk, not a loose mineral or a wall-mounted coral sample.

03 // EXACT ANSWERExact answerFULL SPOILER
ACCESS LOCKED // OPEN TO REVEAL

Enter a Kelp Forest near Lifepod 5, approach a Creepvine, and pick a Creepvine Seed Cluster directly from the plant. Each cluster contains seven seeds and can be used for Lubricant, Silicone Rubber, or a renewable Creepvine setup at base.

COMMON REASONS YOU ARE STUCK

  • Using the Survival Knife when you need the seed cluster
  • Taking Creepvine Samples instead of the yellow seeds
  • Searching the Safe Shallows for the mature plant
  • Looking for a loose seed on the seafloor
  • Staying near Stalkers without a safe escape route
