Can't Find Quartz in Subnautica

Quartz is an early resource, but it blends into the seafloor and appears in caves as well as open biomes. Search the starter caves and grasslands before making a deep resource run.

The Safe Shallows and Kelp Forest cave network are the first practical search areas. Later large Quartz deposits are a separate bulk-mining route.
