Can't Find Cave Sulfur in Subnautica
Cave Sulfur is inside Sulfur Plants, guarded by Crashfish. The resource is easy to miss because the plant is empty only after its resident fish has left.

Search Sulfur Plants in Safe Shallows Caves or Kelp Forest Caves. Lure the Crashfish out, evade its explosion, then return to the plant and collect the Cave Sulfur.

Look for the pale Sulfur Plant in a cave. The yellow resource is inside the plant, not loose on the cave floor.

In Safe Shallows Caves or Kelp Forest Caves, approach a Sulfur Plant until the Crashfish exits, swim away or use the Seaglide to clear the blast, then return to the opened plant. Do not destroy the plant if you want it to remain a repeatable source.
